Is there any value to a domain that gets 94 overture searches? If so what is the value? What about 34 overture searches. The overture search does not include the .com

Thanks.

A couple of dollars, 94 isn't very large.

Yup, I wouldn't give any additional value for that. Also keep in mind that half of those are probably from other domainers/webmasters inquiring to it's position and such as well..

Personally to addon some value for a domain based on searches, it would have to be atleast 500+.

Basing the value of a domain solely on Overture searches is, well, just not right.

For the right person, it could be the most valuable domain in the world. Just because it only gets 90 searches each month (or whatever Overture measures in), it doesn't mean the domain isn't able to be the perfect brand. It doesn't mean it couldn't make for the worlds best company name that can be remembered by every sole in the Western world.

Branding is just one of the considerations when valuing a domain name. There are many more, so basing the value of a domain just on Overture searches seems quite crude to me.

Of course, we all know this already, but I had to say it. :)

How much traffic does the domain get? What is the potential traffic if you develop? Is this traffic easily monetized? Those are the types of questions you should be asking. And... 94 overture searches isn't very many.

As someone already pointed out, a domain is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Why do two nearly identical t-shirts cost very different prices? Perhaps one has more attractive packaging. Perhaps one has the Nike swoosh on it. Perhaps one store is in a mall and another in a rural area. These are examples that apply to websites as well (design, branding, traffic).

You need to do more comprehensive research and more importantly... USE YOUR INTUITION. Sure... websites are technology, but the web works because there are PEOPLE at the other end. Use your noggin!
