Hi,

Hope someone can help
I have just bought a domain name from go daddy
I cannot afford to maintain a web site until next year but I have been told I can still use the domain name and have visitors re-directed to my myspace page.

Also can I still use the free email address I was given with this domain name....If this is possible how would I go about it.

Sorry if this is a lame question but I am a complete beginner when it comes to domain names and email addresses.....been using hotmail up until now.

This depends on the registrar you're using and sometimes the domain extention. I'm not sure as to GoDaddy's services and options, but their technical support is very good. Call their toll-free phone support.

I believe that you can have your domain redirect to your MySpace page (or any URL for that matter) for free, but am not 100% positive. E-mail I believe you might have to pay a free, but again am not positive on that.

Contact GoDaddy's support as they'll be able to best answer your question and even guide you exactly how to do it.

For some reason I always want to call GoDaddy, GoAddy.

I've just doubled checked the goaddy.com website and you do get a free 25MB E-mail Account + the standard domain forwarding options with a domain.

Try logging into the site then navigating to domains > my domain names > clickonyourdomain.com and then have a look at the options available - there should be something there. Otherwise just ring tech support as Tyler suggested.

Hope that helps :)

I can easily get you out of this situation here. :)

I am selling some cheap hosting plans that you may be interested in. If $1 a month is too high for you, then I don't really think that you will be able to get this plan. :)

For $1/month you get:
1GB Space
15GB Bandwidth
Unlimited Email Accounts
Unlimited Features
cPanel - Control Panel

You can either pay $12 a year or $1.50 a month to cover Paypal fees. This is the best deal that you can get and I'm pretty sure it would be a great solution to your problem right now. Message me if your interested.
