What is Trade Ratings?
Trade Ratings is a system on PublisherForums.com specifically used for providing feedback to showcase past transactions. It works very similar to eBay's feedback system.
Once a transaction/trade between two members is made, each user can submit a rating for the other person. They can choose between giving a positive (+1), netural (0), or negative (-1) score to the other person, which will then reflect upon their new Trade Rating score.
This system helps protect members from being scammed or ripped off.
How to rate other members
1. Once a successful transfer of payment and domain/website/product/service has been completed (or an issue arises and you want to give negative feedback), click on the number in parentheses in the users profile. For example with "Trade Rating: (6)" you would click on the 6. This will take you to the user's Trade Rating profile screen.
2. Under Member Profile, click the Submit Feedback For <name> (http://www.pokerforums.org/itrader_feedback.php?u=7327) link.
3. In most cases you will always select "Trade" from the first dropdown menu. Under Overall Experience, select the appropriate option.
For Deal thread URL, copy and paste the exact URL of the thread where the trade deal was conducted. Note that in order to work, that either one of the two parties involved must have been the original creator of the thread.
Under A short comment please write a short but descriptive summary of the transaction. This will help users easily identify the level of past transfers.
4. Hit Submit Reply and you're done! Your feedback will immediately be updated on the other users account. The user will also be notified via Private Message, and remind him to leave you feedback as well. However, we encourage you to remind them as well, so you get your much deserved rating!
How to receive feedback
You will only receive feedback if the other user follows the above steps and sends you feedback. It is important then to kindly remind them to do so if they haven't already.
Don't forget to leave them feedback as well!
How can I view my score?
You can view your score the same way you view anybody elses - by clicking the link within the "Trade Rating: (2)" text within their profile or memberpage.
Here's a quick direct link to your Trade Rating profile (http://www.publisherforums.com/itrader.php).
Other Notes
Only threads created within the Domains for Sale (http://www.publisherforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2), Developed Sites for Sale (http://www.publisherforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=10), Turnkeys for Sale (http://www.publisherforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=11), Templates & Graphics for Sale (http://www.publisherforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=12), and Contests (http://www.publisherforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=13) forums are eligible for feedback. This was done to help make sure members post transaction-related threads in the appropriate forum.
