This is a request I always make when I enter a new forum without an area that allows a new member to introduce themselves.
I'm a big fan of allowing new members a place to introduce themselves and talk a little about why they are at the forum, what they hope to learn or share. :)
Allowing regular posters a place to welcome these new members goes a long way in creating a good community spirit, and we get to see a little personality behind the username when a new member, like me, comes on board.
If you decide to create a "New Member Introductions" forum, I'll be happy to be the first to introduce myself and tell you all a little about why I'm here. :)
