I just thought my article on how to prevent you from getting banned on google adsense (http://www.etienneteo.com/2007/10/how-to-prevent-google-from-suspending.html) might help those who are still using adsense as their main income source.
Always be safe, don't get ban for nothing. Google does not give you ample reason on why they want to ban you. It's pretty standard on their mail stating why they ban you. Click fraud or suspected of using paid traffic rush program to increase impression. There are always reasons for google to ban you.
Learn to prevent from yourself from violating Google Adsense (http://www.etienneteo.com/2007/09/22-mistakes-that-you-never-would-have.html), many people are still unaware that you could have violated one of the 22 unforgivable acts against the TOS.
just following the guidelines would help as well I guess.

Yeah, always read the TOS. I got lucky because I am telling users to click the banner, but fortunately, I fixed it before being banned.

I know, I was lucky I didn't get caught because I made about $250 while I had that on my site.

I see you will earn more slowly day by day. More traffic more earnings.
I've noticed a lot of people getting banned recently for having thumbnails next to their adsense advertisements. I personally did that all the time and saw AT LEAST DOUBLE click through rate. It simply just looks better and I've seen some really nice deceptive Adsense setups with a product over each ad as though the adsense was related to the product. Those kinds of shady tactics get banned on the spot.

You need a border line to be in between your photos and ads, you might be able to pull off now, but one day adsense bot will catch up on you and ban you, it is best that you follow their guidelines.
