I sold an eBook on DigitalPoint. I sold about 5 copies, but so far, one payment was reversed by Paypal, even though I showed that I email the eBook, and another person is in the process of doing a chargeback.

How do I protect myself against Paypal taking my money away?

I am getting very angry every time I lose money because people are scamming the system.

I don't think there's anything you can do unfortunately... I've heard this happen to a lot of people, but I've never had it happen to me.. lucky I guess.

I think part of it is the demographic you're working with. In my opinion, people who will pay for an e-book are more likely to try to do things like this and scam the system.

Another possibility is that these users are genuniely unhappy with your e-book. Did you make claims and promises that weren't true, or oversell the content of the e-book?

Through the sites and everything I have sold I have never had any problems so far touch wood. I always look at a users itrader before I consider selling to them or buying from them. Its all we really have to go on. I know someone has to buy or sell to some one for the first time, I have and its never come to haunt me yet.

Once they do a charge back I am not sure there is much you can do..
