I decided to do a spin on the "How much do you make" threads. This should yield some interested results: Post your All-Time earnings from AdSense. Also mention when your first day with AdSense was.

Reports -> Advanced Reports -> Choose Date Range -> All Time

My first day was September 2003. Surprised it's been that long. Only made $3,000 in 36 months, around $80 a month average.

Unfortunately Google doesn't allow you to aggregate the totals for Content, Search and Referrals. So I'll display them seperately.

Start Date: July 4th 2006
Total Queries: 48,815
Total Made: $48.34

Adsense Referrals
Start Date: December 25th 2005

Total Made: $8,231.91

Also, had my #1 day with adsense yesterday, with earnings of $165 from Adsense alone.

I have a question though, I have no sites setup but I'm receiving about 200-300 uniques a day on my ads, which is strange. I don't remember giving my code to anyone either, so I'm basically getting free (but very little) money.

Jack, having checked out your signature I noticed you run both a proxy site and a file host, which would you say is more profitable?

I'm looking into these areas but my two main concerns are...

- Both sites are resource hungry
- Both markets are saturated

Both are not easy, for proxy it's mainly about marketing, once you get the site popular, optimize your ads, you could earn $1-2k/month like I do, from a site which requires no management what so ever.

For file hosting, you won't ever make any decent money unless the site gets reallly popular, the overheads are huge (server bills), e.g. you could make $5000 revenue a month and have to spend $3500 on server fee's.

I'd say "proxy" is your safe bet, but meh the market is so saturated at this time, and proxy keywords on adsense are not the best rates they have been.

Well I have made about 80 dollars since November 18... Sort of sad... I have a forum with 80 members logging in per day, but we just started 3 months ago, and we are growing into one of the biggest GFX sites out there. I am going to get started in the blog hosting business, buying a script and getting a domain. Free blogs with great templates, and I am hoping that the adsense revenues will hold true to its blog reputations. So what do you guys think? A blog host... will it start making me money in the thousands? I am also putting together a photoshop, flash, and every other program tutorial web engine index. More adsense... On top of that I am going to release the next imageshack because we got a nice server, and sometimes imageshack is just too slow to be true.

Oh and one more question to you bloggers making money in the thousands... how are you making so much if I don't even see your ads!? Oh and one more thing, I hear problogger.net makes $1 million per month of adsense! But the only google ads they have are these small text links in the middle of the page... how could they be making that much?

Well thanks for the help, and this site really is picking up now, due to the genius who put together this money prize contest! Too bad I have no time to take it seriously though :(

Spamming? Myspace spam? I know a lot of people that got banned for using myspace to advertise thier sites. I think Myspace reports the user straight to Google.

They stated click fraud (personally, I wasn't clicking my ads). But there ban emails are so general they don't go into detail. They just said click fraud, or many other reasons could be the reason. I asked for a more detailed explanation and they replied that they can not go into detail. So I'll never know for sure.

For 2 months i was experimenting on my blog to have my adsense placed at the bottom of my post but above my comment form instead of the usual "optimized adsense placement" and i am now on to $95.58 close to the $100 mark. I am sure i am able to withdraw that cheque by end november 2007.
