I started www.makingtheartist.com a while ago with the idea to make it HUGE. It's a place for independent artists to get free exposure (you can ofcourse change the concept of the site if you want).
And it went really good at first, and we got 100 registered artists in just a matter of days. But a little later I kind of lost interest in the site and I also got really busy with my other sites so I didn't care too much about it. And it has been going a little down lately. And today we have 327 registered bands/artists.
The site is getting about 50-100 visits per day according to Awstats (306 visits on August 11, I don't know why it suddenly went up this high).
There are two google ads on the site, but they're not really making any revenue at all.
I still believe this site has got a lot of potential if it's being developed correctly. But like I said, I have lost interest in the site and I'm busy with my other sites.
The site is using the Jamroom (http://www.jamroom.net) software which is very easy to use.
The buyer of this site will get:
- The domain makingtheartist.com (expires on 11/7/2007)
- Jamroom Unlimited Artists license, Bonus Pack, and Power Pack.
- Professionaly customized Jamroom theme.
- Ofcourse the db with all the artists and everything.
- Customized vbulletin skin to match the site (you will have to get your own vb license).
