View Full Version : How dis.gust.in
So i really liked the 3 domain tiered idea with my web2.0foru.ms. Well now im proudly introducing;
http://dis.gust.in
I think im gonna develop it into a complete opposite of del.icio.us, so you tag the worst stuff and that :P, worst designs, videos and sites and stuff.
You may notice that the logo is actually an inverse of the del.icio.us logo :). Though im not sure ill keep that.

That is a very good idea, Zane. I think that you should seriously consider developing it into a good site. It can fetch you lots of fame and money.

The only withdrawal from this idea is who will take their time to put stuff up like this? I can see stuff that will benefit them, but I don't see how this will benefit people enough to waste hours doing it. It could be a bit of a success, we'll see.

I like the idea, especially the web 2.0 name. However, I really wouldn't remember that if I ever saw visited your site, liked it, and wanted to return. (but for some reason didn't bookmark it)

unsocial bookmarking
Lets face it. There's tons of crap on the web, every minute some disgustin(gly) designed website is being uploaded, some incredibly incorrect article is being posted. So why not expose it. Maybe then the designers, the publishers and the developers will learn what NOT to do and start doing the right thing.
Private beta launching march 2007

I look forward to you releasing it into the wild for us all to play with ;)
Are you developing a script yourself or using a commercially available one?
