View Full Version : Is there a tool to calculate # of PR pages?

In order to provide specific detail on my advertising page for one of my sites, I'd like to be specific in stating exactly how many PR pages I have, and what PR they are.
For example, my one site must have several dozen PR6 pages, a couple hundred PR5 pages, and hundreds or thousands of PR2-4 pages. It would be great to be able to state exact number such as:
PR6: 62
PR5: 297
PR4: 640
PR3: 456
PR2: 214
PR1: 315
Is there a program or site out there that can calculate this? Preferably a free one? Obviously I can't do this by hand as there are too many pages...
Thanks in advance!

if we knew how the firefox toolbar gets its values it could be possible to write a spider to crawland record the pages PR...
there's an opera widget that mentions using this site

You can probably code a PHP script to open each file in a certain directory via PHP or some other programming language and then submit those seperately to a PR checker that you could download and host on your site. Then just record each value given via explode() if using PHP then count() the results and display them. It might be a complicated script, but it would do it automatically. It would also take a while to load if you have a ot of pages.

Google Webmaster Tools might let you be able to see this.
Not positive if they give the number, but they show the percentage of pages that have a low, medium, or high page rank.

I know I tried Google's Sitemaps feature.. is that what you're referring to? If so, yeah, it wasn't too helpful..

Yeah, I believe that's what I was referring to.

I have to verify my sites again since I deleted the Google file. But from memory they didn't list a number of pages, just a percentage. Not even the PR#s, just with a low/medium/high rank.

There's this tool (http://www.iwebtool.com/visual_pagerank) which gives you an image of your site's home page with PR shown beside each link you have on it.
If you don't have all your links of inner pages on the home page, you can first use Yahoo site explorer: http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/ to get the list of links of all pages.
Here's the result (http://www.iwebtool.com/visual/?domain=http%3A%2F%2Fiwebtool.com&nofw=1&ex=1). (It can take several seconds that PRs are shown).

I think Tyler can also use this tool
http://www.iwebtool.com/visual_pagerank
But it just gives you PR of each link on homepage/index.
