The site concept

Hello guys. Some time ago I launch my first site with ads on it. I want to know your opinion could it be profitable? The site is ebookspirate (http://www.ebookspirate.com). The concept is to monitor sites which posts ebook download links. It updates every 15 minutes so the infromation is always up to date.
It also would be great if you can give some advices how to let people know about it.

you should do link exchanges with other related or not related sites.. maybe buy some text links on high pr sites, post a link in your signature.. etc etc..

Personally I like it! But like all things there's a couple of improvements you can make. Here's my take.

1. Give it a theme that will generate interests. E.g. It would be great if all these eBooks are can be resell by visitors. Then your website will definitely be the first place I wish to look for materials on my next eBook.

2. Break down into categories. To most of us, subjects are more important than where are the eBooks located. Break it down into subjects, take a hint from those article zines.

3. Design matters. Get a professional designer to do up something nice for you. :eek: Wait I can do it for you!

4. Break your information properly. Contents and ads should be section out nicely, right now, it's kinda of messy.

Submit it to DIGG. Maybe some users will find it very helpful. You could also maybe allow users to register and customize the site to their likings. eBooks are improving in interest among the Internet so you might have something here if you keep builidng it up.

You have a good site. But first of all I would recommend you to remove the google adsense ads from it and try the CPM or adult ads. This is because as soon as google comes to know that your website has links to download illegal books, it will ban you.
