Hey all,
What are the top CPM networks that accept forum sites? I know that Value Click explicitly says that they do not accept forums but what are some of the other ones that accept forum sites?

Not many CPM programs accept forum sites. Those who do might be those who don't pay. I don't think that there are much sites which pay CPM for forums.

It may be hard to find one, I don't know of any. But if they do, expect a low rate on CPM.

Burst sometimes accepts very high quality forum sites. If you already have an account with them for a site, but you want their ads on your forums then they will give you a different ad code.

However, although they will have a few cpm ads for forums most will be cpc.

There is a good reason for ad networks not letting forums display cpm ads and that is the roi for the advertisers. Forums tend to have pretty low CTRs, and so for an advertiser, paying cpm makes it very expensive. In contrast, cpc and cpa ads fit well for forums as it doesn't matter what the ctr is as advertisers only pay for each click or sign up - so they are happy.

I agree, forum advertising seems to have High Impressions, so low CTR because most people get used to the advertising. And there are a lot of impressions on busy forums so CPM becomes expensive for advertisers.

PublisherSpot.com (http://www.publisherspot.com) now has the ability to search networks by if they allow forums :)

Good old advertising, eh Tyler? ;) But, one place that has allowed me to put CPM ads on (I even met them in person and they were cool about it) was ADSDAQ. It's new, still in beta, and I haven't reached the necessary level to be paid, but they are pretty nice people and they run a really good program. Basically, you put the CPM where YOU want it to be and then people who are willing to pay that much put their ads on your site. Now, if those people never get clicks, they are less likely to pay. So, what happens when you are not showing CPM ads? You put another tag in, such as Adsense. So, now you're running CPM and CPC through one piece of code that switches back and forth based on how high you're asking for a CPM as well as the percentage of the total 100% that is being filled by that CPM.

Tribal Fusion accepts Forums, and they are probably offer the best CPM rates out of the whole bundle. Joel Comm has them on his adsensechat.com forum. They are very hard to get into though, you need a minimum 2000 unique visitors a day!
