Need to have Forum Moderators for PublisherForums.

It's just a suggestion. There must be some if any forum moderators for PublisherForums, take a look at http://www.publisherforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=15 (http://www.publisherforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=15)

It's supposed to be a place to 'Advertise your Services', yet there's still thread selling links. :mad:

It's better to appoint a couple of forum moderators now since the forum is still quite small. Should not be too tough to find.

Hm... Maybe you want to do a contest at the Marketplace for that. :D

Thanks a lot for the suggestion and offer, it's much appreciated. However I don't plan on appointing moderators until there are any real issues here. Waiting will also let me see which members would make good moderators.

Like Tyler said, Publisher Forums is so small right now that there isn't too much needed to maintain it currently. At least more than one man can do. I've had experience, it's no good having more moderators than active members, they just sit tweadling there thumbs, plus it doesn't give an advantage of worthy members gaining the spot when needed.

I agree. On my web forum I am very strict on who makes staff and especially who becomes a moderator. Its just better like that, and equally as important, its safer for the forum.

Hm... in that case, someone to do regular housekeeping in the forum would be good too... Seems like good moderators are hard to come by these days.

Do you mean that you are getting paid from them for moderation?

Yes, some forums do pay for moderation. I mean that although it is a privilege, still if there is a lot of work to do, then money incentive can work quite well.

Do they conduct an online interview to check your skills. I think this can be a part time job. :)
