Hey,

first post in a while but have been at university so busy getting drunk and partying (and some studying !)
So basically ive bought a domain murked.com for you who dont know what 'murked' means which is probably the majority it is a urban term for owning somone or owning somthing. For instance 'i murked that test today' or 'i murked that guy in a fight yesterday'.

definition by urban dictionary:

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=murked

Anyway i am looking into developing this site and dont really know what to do with it. Only ideas iv come up with is some sort of video site of videos of people getting 'murked'.

Please help with some ideas!

Cheers

Video seems to be in thing right now. Maybe you want to consider setting a blog or best of Videos? A compilation of the best videos from around the various websites... :p

Simplify the whole searching for everyone.

Lol, murked. That slang term has to be at least 3+ years old. I haven't heard anyone use it in ages, I actually forgot what it meant. But maybe a t-shirt site?

yer i think it may b a old american word - however in the UK with the upcoming uk hip hop/grime fad starting up people are starting to use it again :)

Ah, I see. Yeah, it was used a couple years back pretty big. I believe when I was still in high school. 2-3 years back. Interesting to see it coming back, it's a nice name.

yes i was thinking this but would people use the site? Has the 'ownage' video market been over saturated? I mean it would be quite a easy site to set up but does it have any long term future?

Content is king. If you work hard enough it's possible, trust me.

Do something you are passionate about with it. If you like videos, do it. If you like tshirts, do it. If you like both, do them both. If you are a big fan of ceiling fans, do it. Chances are people in the ceiling fan maket won't know the word "murked" anyway. You could just call yourself James Murked... Murked Ceiling Fans and Finishings.... maybe not...

Personally i would set an entertainment blog with that domain, it's pretty catchy, especially for people who use a lot of urban words, so that's one thing to consider.

I wouldn't open a blog with only videos on it cause there are a lot of guys selling automating scripts that would just rip off sites like YouTube & Google Ads for an 'X' video, so the effort, even though minimal is not worth it.

If you don't find a use for it, hit me up and i might grab it.

Maybe you could sell this domain name for some money to some big fool. I don't think that you can develop anything useful for such a domain name.
