Forum is slow

I have been trying to go to various forums here, but it seems very slow.

What seems to be the problem?

It could depend on your location and how far you are from the servers. The load times are actually great for me. Not waiting for load or anything, located in central USA.

I believe he was referring to the active state of the forum and traffic, and not the loading times :)

charley - Yeah, it's slowed down some. This is probably partly due to my extremely business this week. When I get some time I'll try to stir it up again a bit.

Seems the problem persists.

Each thread to open up takes atleast 1 minute. If the posts and threads continue to increase then, the site will be really slow.

Where are you from? I'm experiencing no lag what so ever. Extremely fast on my end.

Yes this forum is very fast loading for me too. I live in India.

It's pretty fast for me now. But sometimes during the early hours, it lags. It could be cos of my Internet or something.

Actually interestingly enough. (I'm on another Internet connection here.) It still loads very fast for being on a 10-20kb line.

I think the forum speed reduces when there are more members on the board. When there are only a few, the speed increases.
