I was looking for this. It's an excellent checking tool, if you're doing SEO for someone. You can choose resolution, color depth and Java/JavaScript/Flash enabled or disabled. Really good, all in one tool.

Its a nice tool, but it takes a long time before your screenshots are taken

I like the idea of the site, but it takes a little too long to get your shots taken.

yes it takes a long time, but you can come back later and check the screenshot taken while you were gone

Too bad they don't have a paid service which puts you in front of the queue. It's just from my experience, I hate waiting to get results back when I'm already ready to fix the problems. But as you say, patience is key.

Refresh the page each few minutes. I got results in 9 minutes and I forgot to refresh in meantime, so it's even faster, I guess.

Also check only browsers you are really interested in.

Yeah, I don't have IE6, Safari or most of the other ones so I regularly use this for my coding. :)

http://Browsercam.com is expensive but has one day free trial for 200 screen captures. Linux Fedora, MacOS 10.3 /10.4, Windows98/2000/XP/Vista, all main browsers, 4 resolutions, bmp, ping, jpeg format.

Not much better then Browsershots, it's faster and you can get all resolution screenshots at once. If you will try use BMP format it's excellent image quality, you will wait a bit longer though.

You can convert image on the end in bmp, jpeg, png, pdf or psd format. Here's an example of bmp capture (http://www.browsercam.com/public.aspx?proj_id=319890).

Used browser shots yesterday and it was actually a lot faster than I remember previously. Was a bit more confusing however.

its not really clear which screenshots are new, and which ones are old..

Browsershots remembers your last session, so when you enter the same URL in, you'll see old screenshots and their age in hours below. (You get an URL of your screenshots, which is very convenient, if you're reviewing the site for someone).

You need to start a new session for fresh results.
