There are many hosting review sites around, I through a lot of time away browsing ones with 1,000+ hostings.
So, can we share here some shorter hosting review listings?
WebhostingGeek.com (http://webhostinggeeks.com/) gives top 10 hostings in few categories: best hosting, multiple domain hosting, Free domains hosting.
Hosting-review.com (http://www.hosting-review.com/) suggests "top 10" hostings in many categories.

I usually am weary of these kind of sites though. They usually are only around for the affiliate programs.

Reviews can be confusing yes. This is the reason I've opened this thread: to find reliable, quality, "I'm not connected with them" reviews.

I am always confused with hosting sites! The other day I registered with one hosting site offering promotion on a forum thread and when I paid ---I could not return to the main site from shooping cart. I tried to login--could not! Lost $5
Finally I bought it from a person that I know! and happy now
Beware of false claims. Only choose the established players though they might cost little bit more.

Here's one hosting review site (http://whreviews.com/) and author claims he's not connected to any hosting. Well, time to decide for something. The best way is asking some knowledgable friends, I guess.

I agree - do they publish bad reviews at all?

Rarely one will want to lose time with making a precise review of a bad post, since good reviews are of benefit for hosting service and reviewer's site.
Bad reviews are from disappointed users - through Google you can find them on forums.

Well I have seen many places write reviews of only hosting sites that have an affiliate program. But nevertheless if the features of the hosting services are good and the site looks professional ( I mean the hosting site ) then we might as well give it a try cause its not that new hosting sites are always bad.

I've found one very promising hostingreview site. They buy all hostings they review and they don't tell noone about it until publishing (http://pcworld.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http://www.Webhostmagazine.com).
Findmyhosting (http://Findmyhosting.com) has hosting reviews and convenient search options.
