For Poker Affiliate Programs, is it better to go for CPA based or Commission based models.

What is the best Poker Affiliate Program, ie. the one with the best converion rates and highest payouts.

Conversion rates is usually a factor of your audience profile (Are they low money players? New to the game? Bonus whores? etc.)

Highest payouts... to be honest I couldn't tell you that. Even though I'm an affiliate of dozens of poker rooms, I still don't know. This is because all of their payouts are so large that it never becomes something I notice. CPA is usually at least $50, with the norm running usually from around $75-100. However, some pay as much as $300.

For Poker Affiliate Programs, is it better to go for CPA based or Commission based models.

This depends on your audience profile again. Are your players low-limit money players who don't multitable? Are they bonus whores? If yes to either of this, it's better to go with CPA as you won't be seeing enough action from them to make anything close to the CPA amount, even longterm.

Or, are your players small-medium limit players who play a fair number of hands per month? Do they multi-table? Are you signing up good players? If so, rev-share is the best way to go as you're making a cut of the house's profit off that player for LIFE.

Sign up one high-limit player and you could be set for life - literally.

Welcome to the site raven.

You sound like you aren't very trusting of poker rooms or are skeptical. I'm an affiliate of around 30+ poker rooms, and I've never had a problem being paid by any of them. Their whole business is based on a large marketing strategy, and they invest a lot of money in doing so. You'll find that almost all poker rooms will supply affiliates with their own affiliate manager who will help you with anything you need. They phone you asking how they can help you more even.

That being said, some of the most popular sites are PartyPoker, PokerStars, UltimateBet, and FullTiltPoker.

Good luck.

You're going to find it a difficult market if you want to advertise your poker rooms via PPC. Poker CPC rates are among the highest in the industry... and remember the person will need not only click and sign-up, but click, sign-up, deposit, and then usually play a certain amount of hands as well.

Just a warning there in case you weren't aware of it.

Most poker rooms accept people from most 'major' countries. There's no reason for them to not want them. Also, most poker rooms let you choose between a CPA or MGR (shared revenue) as well.

Poker is a good game. But I have never tried out their affiliate programs. Tyler seems to be a pro in that direction. Maybe you could write an article for all of us to learn from...

I must say PokerStars was good for me.

I got a lot of referrals and also their rates are really good compared to the other ones.
