So. How much do you earn .. by using Google AdSense?

I just recently implemented the Adsense for Search about a week ago, to see how well it would do. Well, as you can see, not so well. I didn't customise the search result pages though, so I may go and do that sometime. I also use ValueClickMedia, which doesn't earn me as much as Google Adsense.

I haven't found Google Search income to be really worth bothering about yet, at my small size.

I also find that the serarch built into the Word Press/MYSQL blogging platform provides a much better user experince ... Google doesn't find things within my blogs as easily.

But your referral program numbers are really eye opening. What referrals are you featuring and what button(s) or text are you using? I've had no luck at all with referrals.

I'm earning around $1-2 a day from AdSense. (This topic should really read "How much do you earn from AdSense?").

My best earnings from AdSense were around $5 a day, about a year ago. You've got some nice numbers there though Joel, I've always been envious of earning money like that through an ad network, as it's a constant and you can expect it day after day unless something drastic happens.

I earn about $15-20 a day in adsense, I would like to increase this with a possible affiliate program but im not sure which is best, maybe I will start a thread in the appropriate section ;)

I think the opposite to that. I'd much rather have money coming in from other sources than being reliant on adsense.

All it takes is one click-happy asshat, and your entire month's income could be lost.

I also believe it is very important to "not have all the eggs in the same basket".
Adsense is like 4% of my total income per month, but I agree with tyler that you allways know when and how much you get when using AdSense.

Affiliatenetworks does allways pay different dates and some advertisers may be delayed with payments and so on.

Joel be careful about displaying your ctr google can ban you for it.

Yeah Google has a policy against publicly showing the CTR (Or impressions + clicks as the formula can still be worked out, just impressions or just clicks is fine though), although I'd be extremely surprised if they ever did something about it.. never heard of anything, and they'd probably just kindly ask you to black it out.

Anyhow, it's a good thing to know for the future though the next time you post screenshots, to block them out.

Okay, well overall since I started my adsense account (several months ago), I have made $6.73. The funny thing is, I have NO idea what site these are coming from, as I have no site setup with adsense. I know I have given my code to some other people as a placeholder while their coding, but I think they would have taken them down.

Thats right. Just over half my income is from Adsense Referrals. In total I make about $4000 a month from Google alone.

The largest site I own is gambling related so I can't have AdSense on it (although they do allow me to put AdSense on a poker site I own, funny huh?).

Anyway, the sites I have AdSense on currently don't get much traffic so it's anywhere from $0.50 - $2.00 or so a day. Traffic will come over time, though. ;)
