What is the term used when you want to buy a server for full price, but want to have it taken care of in a datacenter in case anything goes wrong? (I wouldn't know how to fix it, yet. Plan on getting a networking degree after my computer science and business major)
The term managed hosting comes to mind, but I'm not sure or not if that's right. I've checked around and haven't found a defintion. Also, anyone have any experience with this?

You probably mean colocating hosting. You buy a physical server and you take it to some datacenter in your area. You're responsible for hardware, hosting company provides software and connection.

I'm guessing you mean managed servers - so you have access to everything on the server, but someone else has access to keep things running smoothely - great if you don't know a massive amount about runing a server like me ;)

Thanks for the link, boron. That is exactly what I was looking for. I actually saw that wiki article but was in a hurry and didn't read it all, but it was exactly what I was looking for, haha.
Thanks again.
