Has anyone used AdBrite before? I added them to my site yesterday and on the index it's only showing
Play free online RPG, Play deal or no deal and Poker freerolls
And it's been showing them since yesterday, must be about 20 hours now. Surely these should change to what's on the page?
In the forum it gets worse with car hire and home insurance!
Anyone else had this problem?

I'm not sure, but I don't think AdBrite uses targetted ads like google. Which means, they just show random ads because they don't have the technology or are against using targetted ads.
I suggest you get adsense if possible, or publisher.

I got banned from AdSense for an unknown reason. See thread "AdSense is a joke" in the AdSense section.

AdBrite uses network ads so you would see those type of advertisements until you actually get people to purchase ad campaigns on your site.
The network ads often change from time to time.

Oh that's not very good then, I've taken them off now.
Any suggestions where to go next for targeted ads?

You took them off? Well I pretty much thought they were really good. They have a high CPC with their network ads. Today I got 1 click on one of my sites and I got $0.18 for it. That's like 4x what I get on Adsense.

Yeah they might pay more but who is going to click car insurance and personal loan ads on a gaming website? They really aught to get some new technology that makes the network ads targeted.

Check out Bidvertiser (http://www.bidvertiser.com/bdv/bidvertiser/bdv_ref_publisher.dbm?Ref_Option=pub&Ref_PID=34728).
There min payout is relatively low at $10. I have made pretty decent money with them so far on one of my sites and their ads are targeted.

Sounds ideal, I'll have a look. Thanks.

I can't even add my site to Bidvertiser. It says " Please select a 2nd category" ... there is no where to select a second category :S

I have this problem as well, maybe I should try a different advertiser but i do average $8 a day on my adbrite which is pretty nice. But I really do wish they were targeted more.
