VideoGame News - http://www.advolcano.com/dir/selectPuPo.cfm?StId=397
Started the site in the middle of Jan 2007 and had 2700 unique visitors up to the end of Jan. So far this month (18th) I've hit 5000 unique visitors. I've just had a new writer join my team so should be getting more news updated more regularly and hopefully more visitors in the next coming months. Might be worth signing up now whilst the ads are relatively cheap.

No where near as much traffic but you get a nice big ad (300 x 250) in pretty much the middle of the page. 751 unique visitors last month (in two weeks again) and almost 1000 so far this month, however, awstats didnt update for 6 days so it should be higher than that.

Where is the majority of VideoGame News traffic coming from?

As in country or just the source?

Although I'm not too sure the country stats are correct. It's only showing 2000 pages from the UK and then for my IP address it shows 8000 lol.

Just interested in the referrers, but the country stats do help. Thanks for the stats. :)

You interested in buying or just curious? :P
I always think it's strange how Google search results are so much higher than MSN etc.

Possibly interested, but it's always a good idea to post the referrer stats to potential buyers so they know where the traffic is coming from and it's not traffic that was boughten.

Ah ok, will do in future. This is the first time I've tried selling ad space like this.
I haven't bought any of my traffic but a lot of it comes from n4g.com (news4gamers).
Is your site gaming related? It doesn't matter if it isn't, just interested.

You can also purchases ads from AdBrite now although they seem to be a bit pricier!

You can change the prices in Adbrite if you think they are a bit higher than you'd like them to be in the control panel for the ad zone.

I've changed them all to $1 a day, seems it takes a bit of time to update though as it's still showing expensive prices.

I take it you're not interested then..
I've updated my prices for anyone else that is interested. I'm doing it through AdBrite now.

$1 for one day, $5 for one week, $15 for one month on all adzones apart from the banner under the navigation on VGN which is $1.5/$7.5/$20 because it's on more pages than the other VGN one.
