How do I find abandoned websites? Is there an easy way, like some search engine trick that will show me websites that haven't been updated in 6 months?

I've never seen anything like what you are looking for, but then again I've never looked. I thought maybe searching for the term copyright and "-2005" might show sites that have their last updated copyright date listed as 2005 in their footer. That would have been a start, but it didn't really work.

Are you looking so you can make offers on the sites?

Yup, that's why.

Don't know how to do it. Maybe you should go to wayback machine and then search for some websites that you have on mind. It can show you if they have been update or not.
