Is it better to have an S at the end of your domain name or not?
Like which would be better: cheese.com or cheeses.com

I guess it depends?

In that example, I'd go for cheese.com not sure why, probably because cheeses doesn't sound right.

I agree. The singular form sounds better.

cheese.com of course!

Search engines typically search singular and plural forms of a word if that's what you're worried about.

But what if someone is searching for reviews on different kinds of cheeses.

It really depends on the situation. Cheese.com is better in that example because it generalizes the word. Cheeses.com is still good, however if someone is looking for cheese, they will most likely type the former.

In that example, the singular sounds better, but many search engines will understand cheeses as cheese as well so there might be an advantage to the plural.
