Anything major changed on ebay after PayPal is the only accepted payment method from New year on? Different atmosphere, more/less problems of any kind?

Not really, apart from eBay playing Big Brother and pulling down auctions which don't comply with their new policy. However, on the whole sellers will more or less accept whatever payment methods they like - regardless of what ebay dicate.

Did I read that right, eBay only allows PayPal payment method? Since when? I listed some items the other day and I could select all the usual ones.

Not paypal exclusively, but they have tried to stop sellers accepting cash!

It looks like these methods (http://pages.ebay.com.au/education/learn-to-buy-payments.html) are supported now:
PayPal
Bank Deposit
Money Order
Cheque
Credit Card
Cash On Delivery
Cash Wire Transfer (not recommended)

I guess, I heard that e-gold is not accepted any more. Can someone explain this?
