Seems like some current events are taking a toll on the market. Already today the DJIA is down 1% (over 100 points), along with the S&P and NASDAQ down 1.1% and 1.5% respectively. Also look at the Chinese stock exchange, down a staggering 9%!!

Also, this comes after Alan Greenspan openly talks about another recession may be in the works, after 6 years from the 2001 recession. Which they didn't mention may be hurting the investors opinions.

I'm a bit scared.

What are your guys takes on this? I still can't believe Chinese stocks fell 9%.

[edit] NASDAQ is now down 2%, bad news for the tech industry.

If anyone is interesting in current point standings, here is a great resource:

Currently DJIA is 400-500 points down today, down over 3%. NASDAQ and S&P are down over 3% as well. Incredible, all the record highs over the past couple months is merely gone.
