Zerotomed.com is a personal blog - author is sharing some of hisnpersonal life and tries to figure out how to earn. Few implemented techniques already live there.

SITE OPENS normaly - in a second or two. Speed test (http://www.websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze/wso.php?url=http://zerotomed.com) shows that images (69Kb) slow down loading. The header image alone contributes 47Kb. Total site size is 124Kb.

DNS Lookup test from uknown reason doesn't work, DNS timing is not optimal but having that particular hosting in mind there should not be any major problem.

Spell Check (http://r.netmechanic.com/toolbox/spell_check.cgi?f=f/114/063/1231/07-19900/&p=1&vi=1&fp=1&fv=5&s=NetMechanic) shows nothing major on quick look.

1. FIRST THING I've noticed is the heading banner and the tricky site title which push me to the blog posts to found out what is it on the site.

Second Thing: Banner subtitle gives "textual look" it is also thin, heard to read. It gives quite a lot of information though.

2. DESIGN: It's a Word Press blog, hard to discuss about design. Banner holds the whole responsibility about the site look.

Site's look in: Firefox, Opera, Konqueror..browsers (http://browsershots.org/website/http://zerotomed.com/). http://BROWSERSHOTS.org

3. NAVIGATION: Big post titles are OK. On the upper right side there should be Search field then blog categories. Links can go below this then.

4. CONTENT is authentic. Posts have the sense, all things a little bit scattered around. It is like personal diary. It is like a "portal blog" announcing what all is happening with other sites in a "network".

5. PR = 4

6. INDEXED PAGES: in Google: 2 (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=site%3Awww.zerotomed.com%2F).

7. BACKLINKS in Google: 37 (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&q=link%3Awww.zerotomed.com/), Yahoo: 1,406 (http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/advsearch?p=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.zerotomed.com%2F&bwm=i&bwmf=a&bwms=p)

Anchor text used in backlinks:

8. KEYWORDS (http://www.submitexpress.com/cgi-bin/analyzer/meta.pl?url=http://zerotomed.com/) are very different, random.

Source code (http://web-sniffer.net/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.zerotomed.com%2F&submit=Submit&http=1.1&gzip=yes&type=GET&ua=Mozilla%2F4.0+%28compatible%3B+MSIE+7.0%3B+Wind ows+NT+5.2%3B+.NET+CLR+1.1.4322%3B+.NET+CLR+2.0.50 727%29+Web-Sniffer%2F1.0.24) shows there's no Anchor text in Title and H1 tags.

Site is online from 10-nov-2006.

CONCLUSION: Content of the site is genuine. For getting more visitors some more organization will be needed, a little with categorizing, but a continuos post flow can be interested also if there will be constant desire for reaching some goal.

SEO PLAN: Deciding for a topic(s) from which one main keyphrase can be derived and embeded in anchor text in backlinks. Ranking in Google is possible only with chosing a keyword. Almost all from 1,224 backlinks found with http://backlinkwatch.com show "Zero to med" keyword. Hardly anyone will type it in the search engine.
