Seeing as though I am new I thought I would announce my arrival by contributing to a forum that has not had any posts.

I recently came across a very helpful site called Krugle (http://www.krugle.com). It's a search engine for code snippets, code documentation, discussion forums and knowledge base information.

I'm sure there are plenty of resources similar to the one I pointed out, just add it to your list :)

I was going to build one of these years back. I guess I missed the boat. I have done a good one for our local network. Maybe it will hit the Internet :)

none of the code search engines have become ubiquitous. i think that market is still open. if you already have the code, you should go for it.

I beleive the market is open too. the problem is how do you rank the importance of source code?
