Bearyhealthy.com is a general health blog (http://www.bearyhealthy.com/), covering child's, women's, men's health, nutrition, etc.
SITE OPENS in two-three seconds on 1.44Mb/s connection, but my friend tested it on 2Mbs connection in India : 14 seconds - very slow. Speed test (http://www.websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze/wso.php?url=http://abc.go.com/) shows slow loading also. Home page size of 70Kb may not be the reason. There seems to be a problem with a hosting server - DNS lookup test (http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/dnsreport.ch?domain=bearyhealthy.com) was not accessible for few hours, now it shows some errors hard to say how serious they are.
DNS Timing test (http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/dnstime.ch?name=bearyhealthy.com%2F&type=A) shows that the hosting server may be slow.
Spell Check (http://r.netmechanic.com/toolbox/summary.cgi?f=f/114/064/1009/07-27513/&s=NetMechanic&fv=5&ft=3) and another site loading test.
1. FIRST THING I've noticed were ads on the right side of the blog.
Second Thing was logo. Very nice.
2. DESIGN: Banner from the header should be removed and a title and subtitles with keywords put there.

3. NAVIGATION: Bottom right menu should go on the top - below search field. Font of titles of categories on the right should be very clear, capitalized. Some links are repeted in below menu, this is not necessary. Top two images are not clickable. There are Spiderman (?) images beside Google ads on bottom left - should be removed. Syndicate buttons are on the middle, titles of blog posts are on the left when clicked from bottom menu...All links on the site should be checked, dead links 301 redirected, NOT removed. Dead links checker (http://seotools.biz/dead-links.php). A lot of dead links found. Test should be run for 10 minutes, all bad links are collected in the end report.
4. CONTENT: The way of posting is OK, I mean short posts are attractive. Healt site need accurate, "dense" information since visitors expect direct answers and relief. Writer will need some medical education maybe.

Keyword analyzis (http://www.submitexpress.com/cgi-bin/analyzer/meta.pl?url=http://www.bearyhealthy.com/) shows stuffed Meta description and Meta keywords - this is without value, can be completely deleted. 2/3-word keyword phrases used on the home page are important.

9. COMPETITORS FOR "general health information" in Google:
It is extremely hard to compete with these keywords, some more specific keywords should be used. Site #100 (http://www.rochester.edu/uhs/healthtopics/GeneralHealth/index.html) is online since 1986, impossible to compete with it for "general health information", even harder with higher ranked ones.

CONCLUSION:
Site loads very slow, changing a hosting is an option. The whole site had to be checked for bad links and 301 redirect to Home page made. First redesign needed is: banner from the head removed, title and subtitle writen and font changed at category titles.
