MoveInTheCity.com is an Online Accommodations Directory in the Philippines (http://MoveInTheCity.com)
SITE OPENS in two seconds but it loads fully in 10 seconds. Speed test (http://www.websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze/wso.php?url=http://www.moveinthecity.com/) shows very bad results also. Simple explanation: 785Kb (!) large Home page with 736Kb of images. Images slow down the site. Optimal Home page size is under 100Kb.
Spell Check (http://r.netmechanic.com/toolbox/spell_check.cgi?f=f/117/071/1324/44-18354/&p=1&vi=1&fp=1&fv=5&s=NetMechanic) They are mainly Geographical names issues but also some common spelling errors.
1. FIRST THING I've noticed on the site was the first banner below the header.
Second Thing was the big black banner on the right.
2. DESIGN: Black colored fonts in the header title don't fit ell with the green. "Logo" is cute, but on the first site oppening it doesn't tell much.
Site's look in: Firefox, Opera, Konqueror..browsers (http://browsershots.org/website/http://www.moveinthecity.com/).
3. NAVIGATION: Login and search options should go below the banner. Search has only "Accomodations" option at the moment. Login ia already in the left side anyway. Ads a quite agressive, pushing content down. Sitemap should be a little more clearly marked - easier for reading. Contact link can be placed also as the last link in the top menu.
4. CONTENT: Every offer should have an image and a additional description beside statistics. Forum seems not to be very attractive. Maybe some "easy to post" testimonial page can be set up.
5. KEYWORDS: apartments, apartment for rent, condo, condominium, condominiums, house and lots for sale philippines, lease, rental, transients, transient houses, boarding house, rooms, dormitory, cebu, manila, makati, cavite, quezon city, ortigas, baguio, pasig, libis, cubao, davao
