I was reading about the whole, eBay to adWords PPC thing last night and it seems like a good idea, but does it really work? Is it over saturated? How hard is it to be successful? How much can you expect to make from each campaign?

Also, when I get the eBay link from Commission Junction which kind of text link do I want? I already belong to CJ so that's how I signed up as an eBay affiliate.

This is a pretty good tutorial on it.
Then after you get your keywords you use a program called PPC Keyword Generator to prefix you long tail keywords with words like buy, sale, lowest price, auction, and things like, that so you only target people who want to buy one and not people who are just doing research on the product.
I have another article bookmarked somewhere. You have to combine the info on both sites to learn the whole process but this site spells it out well.
I found it.

This one has a video at the bottom of the article that shows you how to do it. No audio tho.
Basically it goes like this: you find a reasonably popular product on eBay that sells for say, $500 or more, then you get some very specific keywords for that product so you know people have done their research and know exactly what they're looking for, then you use PPC Keyword Generator (it's free) to add words like buy, purchase, etc.. to your keywords so you know the person wants to buy one and isn't just doing research on the product. You sign up to be an ebay affiliate and get an adwords account, then put your keywords into adwords, write a great ad, and pay them $50.
Since adwords is pay per click your $50 will get about 250 people or more (depending how much you're paying per click) to click on your ad. Since they know exactly what they're looking for, and they typed the word "buy" into Google you know they want to buy one. So then they do and you make a commission on it.
Since your product is $500 your commission on each sale is, like, $6 or something. I dunno. There was math and a calculator involved so I don't know if that's right. I figure it's like $4 for every $300 spent or something. Dunno.
Anyway, it adds up and you make a profit.

I just spent 10-minutes reading everything trying to understand your questions ;)
From what I can tell, you're basically just referring to affiliate marketing. The MarketingSyndrome site you linked basically just gives an alternative to the traditional way of choosing niches/keywords. It suggests you use eBay to check for popular searches/products.
What most people do is use Overture + AdWords to do this.
Anyhow, your question is pretty vague. It's basically asking "Can I make money from selling things online?"...

Alright, I get what you asking Sunfrog. I don't know if it works from personal experience, but I've heard people like AOJon doing this and making good money off it. But alot of people are starting to do this type of affiliate marketing so it could get a bit saturated over time.
