Awww crap, not ready for this yet. :( Too bad it doesn't come in another 2 months, that way I'd have a little more time for it.

Same here, but it also seems like my sites PR updates last. Like weeks after the initial pagerank increase. Don't forget also, I believe this happened last year around this time, page ranks increased for some sites for no apparent reason, while no affect on majority of the web. That was a big mystery.

Be very careful before claiming a PR update might be in the works. People do this all the time because Google's PR will fluctuate temporarily or slightly for some sites before the main update which could be months later.
I usually go by http://www.seocompany.ca/pagerank/page-rank-update-list.html to check when an update has occured for sure. It's date prediction is usually fairly accurate too.

If you check PR for the site
downloadfull.net in this live PR checker: http://livepr.raketforskning.com , you can see that PR changed frm PR0 to PR4 on three datacenters.
Last PR update started at January 10th and endedabout the end of January. During all this time some sites went up and down. PR update is not one time event, but rather a period.
Everyone can still develop PR it's not necessary too late even if you do it in a mifdle of update.
It seems that I've found onother nice PR checker:
smartpagerank.com
It tells you:
If the PR is valid
PR on 30 Google datacenters
PR of www and no-www site.
Domain age
Backlinks and Pages indexed in G/Y/MSN/AV/AllTheWEb
Id the site listed in Yahoo, DMOZ and Internet archive (archive.org)
Alexa ranking
You can get mail, when your PR is updated.

Yes--something is definitely happening. There is no update for my sites--as yet--but I bought one PR6 link--few weeks back from a site and that site is now PR5.
Also --backlinks are dancing wildly--sometimes showing a lot and sometimes--just few.
Lets hope this Google dance settles down soon.:o

When there are different SERPS noticed on three different Google servers this is one of the signs that PR/backlink update has started. You can compare three datacentres with Google Dance tool (http://www.seochat.com/googledance/).

It is now clear that GOOGLE dance has started !!!--
Just sometime ago--one of my friend was showing me how his backlinks increased to 2.3K. I checked my sites and found some changes too. But few minutes later--I found nothing again.
So it has finally started. according to www.seocompany.ca -- Google has already finished PR update by 19th of this month. And it will start transferring PR to toolbars from 15th April onwards.
I am getting crazy--as only half of my high value links have so far spidered. I hope it keeps on going like this for few days and afteer one week settles down --it will give my backlinks enough time to get spidered.

It was confirmed by many DP members that backlinks were updated - but not on all websites. Backlink update and PR update are definitely not finished yet, so maybe there's still time.

So definitely something backlinks are being updated and and PR update is not too far. I just hope it gives me 7 more week:(

Well, I've found one datacenter where above site shows backlinks in Google and other people noticed backlinks there also.
It's 72.14.203.99
Everyone can type in the browser http://72.14.203.99 , press enter, then type in Google: "link:yourdomain" and you'll see change in backlinks (I guess).

Yup, I've seen people reporting back link updates as well. Actually saw some back link updates for some sites too.

Regarding backlinks it seems update finished more or less today. All backlinks on all sites I know are updated on all datacenters I've checked.
No PR change on those sites though.

Links update has been finished-- I got only 52:mad: -- But not bad in 2 months.
PR update has also started --but G is just rolling back old PRs--have not started to assign new PR --I think it will be soon.

Nothing has moved on my domain, it is still PR1 (www.namenexus.net) since the last PR downgrade (from PR2 as undeveloped domain, to PR1 once it got developed).
Lets hope the prediction is at least 50% correct.

First backlinks update must be done , then the PR update can follow.
Google shows that 78 backlinks (http://www.google.si/search?hl=sl&q=link%3Awww.namenexus.net&meta=) point to www.namenexus.net. But they ALL come from only three sites. This means you actually have only three unique backlinks. Sites with your link are mainly PR4,3 and 2. But again, they have many other outgoing links which diminish PR value of your backlinks.
Backlinkwatch.com have found 13,121 backlinks based on Yahoo search. This tool is good to check your anchor text and outgoing links.

Canonicalization update (http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/canonicalization-update/)
It’s almost not worth mentioning, but I know one website noticed this, so I’ll talk about it. Last week there was an update to how we canonicalize a small number of urls. The data for externally visible PageRank didn’t change. The only way someone would notice their PageRank changing last week is for example if they were checking for a different canonical url (e.g. externally visible PageRank is shown for www.example.com, but Google changes the canonicalization from www.example.com to example.com).
I guess that explains the contradictory reports about PR update.

This www vs no-www is a reason for confusion sometimes. During PR update the main confusion comes from PR fluctuating on daily basis - it can hapen many times in few days. The other reason is that PR change can be seen only on some datacenter and PR update will be probably published (seen in Google Toolbar) in the middle of April.

Anyone one know any resources for changing the non-www domain to the www domain variety? I'd assume through htaccess?

301 permanent redirect via .htaccess file can be made, just scroll back this thread.
The other somewhat simpler way is to subsscribe your site(s) in Google webmaster tools, verify them by uploading one Google .html file and then you can decide which domain you want Google will consider as your main domain.

Too bad Google Webmaster tools don't show the migration of your PR. Id like to see how some of my sites went through PR updates. But yes, the PR update happened, jumped up on some of my sites.
