How much in taxes?

Taxes season is upon us, and it's almost over. So the tax rush is occurring. But how much are you guys finding that you owe to the government? I should have my figures soon.

I owed, and paid exactly $15,802.32 to the CRA (Canadian version of IRS) last week.

That's roughly 18% of your income? Not too bad actually (If I'm correct).

If you are a sole trader or partner here you pay around 17.5% in tax (called VAT).

If you are a registered company you pay VAT plus an additional 10% corporation tax.

Oh, I wonder what it is in Canada and the US.
