New to perl - IRC coding :)

Hi guys,


I'm not quite new to perl, however I've never delved into the language.


I've got a few IRC bots I've written in PHP, but I find it's not really a language suited for scripts that I wish to be running 24/7 for months on end :).


I've been toying with Net::IRC, which is fun, and I've been learning a lot.


Can anyone link me to, show me the code of, or simply show me any perl written or based IRC bots? I'm very eager to learn more.

What type of languages does IRC support for it's bots? I don't know anything about perl, I do know Tyler has a little experience in it. But I never knew IRC bots ran off PHP or such.
