Web Design and SEO Reviews Section
Hi Tyler,
Can we get a Web design and SEO review forum? As the community section is full of SEO reviews,

Maybe for Web design, but can't SEO reviews be handled in the Search Engine Optimization section? The only reason community management is jammed packed is because boron is making new threads for seo reviews of pointless sites.

The reason I put my reviews in Community managment category is that there were some requests for reviewing forums and blogs, then I just decided to continue with all reviews there.

I think it would be good to have a general reviews and critiques section, for web design reviews, community site reviews and seo reviews

Thanks for the suggestions. However, I talked to boron about all the threads and he agreed to only critique if specifically requested for here on PublisherForums.
As for a dedicated area for reviews, while that'd certainly work, I'm trying to steer and focus more on the monetization aspect of web publishing, and less on actual design and such, as there are many other forums dedicated to such topics...

I think only members with atleast 15 posts should be allowed to request a website review.
Otherwise, people would come, request a review, get a free backlink and dissapear.

Why don't you people prioritize? I already think there's too much categories as it is, just focus on intelligent discussion and decent contributions instead of these useless website reviews.
Any idiot with half a brain can tell you what's wrong with your website, but it takes someone with at least some experience to tell you what you SHOULD do instead.
That's the problem with these forums anyway, everybody is focusing on the amount of posts they make, but instead they should be focusing on the sort of posts they make. That's why I refuse to make my pornsite thread, I know it could help alot of people make alot of cash, but I'll just wait until some of you make contributions that actually help other people.
That brings up another issue with these forums, I think we have no people here that actually do have experience (Yes Tyler, that includes you) to help other people out. All you guys think about is a website with google adsense, pagerank (which is fucking useless) and thinking about how to make money. But the key to make money is actually do something as well. And the point of these forums is to share your experience wether it's a failure or a succes.
Failure, you say? Yes, Failure. There's nothing as valueable as failure, because it's only with failure that you'll learn to approach things dffferently. In short the key to your succes with this forum is:
learning from your failures
share your experiences
experiment, don't copy
and for the love of god, DO SOME WORK.
/end rambling.

Agree. On DP forum you have to have 10 posts before asking for a review. Another review rule can be - no link. Simple as that. I myself won't include links in my reviews from now on.

Sam, how about posting the porn site thread? Maybe it can help get the forums on the right track? I'd be the first to admit, I don't have the most knowledge in affiliate marketing, hell, PPC advertising. But I know I'm a hard striver for learning anything, I'm more of a doer type.

Hi Sam,
My point of posting the suggestion regarding website reviews was that they assist in getting new members in. From my point of view (design background) I am more able to assist people with the look and design of their site as oppose to maximising potential revenue streams. There could be intelligent discussion in website reviews you know!! Particularly from the design aspects, and I think its naive of you to pass them off as useless.
