Default Is digg worth it?

I read everywhere that gettin top in Digg can give you enormous traffic..
But what i am really concerned it is the Digg traffic targetted (The basics of SEO).
lets say i am on front page of Digg with article "How to Deal with SEO Clients"
I know i would get alot of traffic but how would that help me out in business.. as Digg pages are never in SERPs of Y/G/M ..
So according to me Digg is worthless and it gives totally untargetted traffic..

Not true, I had a few sites with articles that only had links from Digg.com and those links gave me 50-100 uniques a day from google.

Keep in mind that if people like your article, they will start linking to it from there own sites. and this will help you getting higher in the SERPs

and a bit of trafic is never bad right

What kind of articles are you referring to?

Some of the articles sites I have visited receive more than 3k and above daily. Seems like the type of articles is important.

I am not saying that you dont get traffic..
but i m saying that you dont get Targetted traffic
the people who go to digg are mostly webmasters and they are ofcourse not going to buy anything from your website..

I think DIGG is extremely worth it. It gives mass amounts on link backs.
